The Centre for Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine (CTERM) is one of Centre for Research Excellence in UKM. CTERM has been a pioneering entity in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine in Malaysia since its modest beginning in 1999 as Tissue Engineering Laboratory.
Beginning with their very first tissue-engineered product, MyDerm, a skin substitute for burn and ulcer patient, they have embarked on a range of initiatives aimed at delivering therapeutic solutions through tissue engineering technology.
